WSA Member Update 5.15.23

May 15, 2023  Dear WSA Members,  We welcome new Connecticut-based WSA member Winter Management Group.  Many thanks to one of our WSA members (who wanted to remain anonymous) for pledging $2,000 to the World Sweeping Foundation’s Memorial Scholarship Fund. That puts us well on the way to having the money needed for this year’s winners. However, we still need additional donations to get to our $4,000 goal.  If you’re inclined to donate to this nonprofit cause designed to help advance the education of those connected to the sweeping industry, please let me know. (Even more important, go to WSA’s Scholarship page and print out and post the info showing how your employees’ children, etc., may apply!)  Cam Roberts describes himself as “a business owner, a man of family and faith, and an example of what can happen when you invest in yourself and surround yourself with the right people.” While he has had success with his company, Cam says his real passion is returning to others what he has learned from other business’ coaches and people on his journey.  Cam’s NPE seminar, entitled “Grow Your Business With INTENTION” was filmed for WSA by Advisory Board Member, Michael Nawa, and is now available to WSA members only at this link.  Fleet Owner reports that diesel has fallen below $4/gallon for the first time in 15 months. Reportedly, the price decline is due to a slowdown in freight shipping.
